Is this the same as full authentication?
No. A shared password gate is convenient access control, not a replacement for user accounts or high-security document systems.
Is the destination shown before entry?
The gate does not display the destination URL before the correct password is submitted.
Can I remove the password later?
Yes. Edit the managed link and clear password protection.
